Good start. Not a fan of the red pinstripe on the wheels, but that's just my opinion. And personally I would have went for 18-19's on the wheels.

I think with a drop you'll be on the right track. Since you already plan to buy coils, do that first, then get rims.

our cars don't look so good on 17s and that time attack only accentuates the smaller size. I just went from 17s to 18s, which isn't much but still makes a big difference.

What made you not go with 19s?

Honestly, the ride in my friends 328 with 19s is absolutely horrid, although it could be from the springs (but once he changed his stock 17s it was noticeable). I guess I just like a bit more tire on the road?

if he has just springs and not a matched damper it may well be bouncy and bad.

i went from 17s to 18s. Ride is BETTER because 1) rims are lighter 2) tyre itself is lighter and different brand and 3) handling is much better. But that's just my case - my 17s felt VERY heavy (style 160) while 18s (style 183M) feel very light. So are better the Michelin Pilot Sport AS runflats compared to Continentals Sport 2 runflats.

Get a set of 18's with more aggressive specs and you will be happy and the car will look 100 times better. Keep it up
