Got v1 performance suspension installed, H&R Sport Springs and Lowering Perchs - Ride is great and im at +22F +18R now, big improvement handling wise Next is some new wheels, looking at staggered 18s from ECS Tuning ![]() Here is my failsauce. I try anyway. Be gentle. Got it: Black Grill DR37 17x7.5 225/45 Square F: +35 R: +22 - I need to put the front spacers back on (All DRA);p Red/Black Roundels 3M Red Lip Red Puddle Lights and Interior Door lights Tint Amber delete Smoked Sidemarkers Smoked Taillights (custom vinyl wrap) Want it: Coilovers/Springs - still deciding Clear Corner Headlights DEPO Blacklines or similar BMS Powerbox afe CAI

I think with a drop you'll be on the right track. Since you already plan to buy coils, do that first, then get rims.
our cars don't look so good on 17s and that time attack only accentuates the smaller size. I just went from 17s to 18s, which isn't much but still makes a big difference.

Honestly, the ride in my friends 328 with 19s is absolutely horrid, although it could be from the springs (but once he changed his stock 17s it was noticeable). I guess I just like a bit more tire on the road?

if he has just springs and not a matched damper it may well be bouncy and bad.
i went from 17s to 18s. Ride is BETTER because 1) rims are lighter 2) tyre itself is lighter and different brand and 3) handling is much better. But that's just my case - my 17s felt VERY heavy (style 160) while 18s (style 183M) feel very light. So are better the Michelin Pilot Sport AS runflats compared to Continentals Sport 2 runflats.
