removing e90 rear bumper - do i need bumper guides?
hey guys!
im going to attempt to fit a m sport bumper onto my 06 e90...do i need new bumper guides to fit it or is there anyway to get around buying new ones? also..does anyone know of a diy guide on removing the bumper! any advice would be greatly appreciated cheers |

I replaced my 2011 e90 rear factory bumper with M-tech sports. I did some research about the DIY replacement & the M-tech bumper requires to replace the bumper guides as well because the lower side tabs location are not the same. I don't know the difference with 2006 models but I hope this helps....

It would be better if the 2006 models will not require you to change the bumper guides. The painful part is once you removed the bumper & some hard works, then you will find out that you really need to replace the guides. The best way before you start removing everything is to buy the bumper guides from your local BMW dealership parts department & ask them to match Tischer's price to get some discounts. Now, if you found out that you don't really need the guides then return it to them. At least you will save some time hitting a dead end.

cheers guy. awesome info! going to get the bumper guides...better to be safe than sorry i guess!
i have bought a cobra sport dual exhaust (335d lookalike). got the dual diffuser as well...cannot wait to get it fitted up... |
