Misfire Codes: 10713, 10705, 11170

Ok, based on the codes sheet I have 10713 is misfire due to low fuel. It has more than an 1/8th and I have taken it way lower than that without issues. 10705 is cylinder 5. No clue what 11170 is. It came up suddenly. It was like a light switch. Feels like I am running on only 5 cylinders. I am afraid to drive it. It is time for plugs for sure (41k miles) but normally on cars when plugs are bad it will be intermittent. This is continuous. Any ideas? I read the misfire thread and it seems like it can be damn near anything, but I would like to hear some opinions. I will see if I can get plugs locally (even though I highly doubt it is a plug issues) and I will sway a coil pack with another to see if the code changes (I will probably try this first since I am pretty sure I need to order plugs and socket). I would like to hear what majority of issues that are out there. I will also continue to search.

Thanks in advance. This really sucks. I hope it is simple.

Plugs, coilpacks, injectors, hpfp and lpfp are usually the culprits...

Start from plugs..

I had a misfire in cylinder 1 a few days ago (46,000 miles) so i went ahead and changed the plugs. everything is fine now. I would do coild packs, then plugs though.

I am thinking if it was a pump, it would have multiple cylinders with codes, not just one. And I have driven it with a bad HPFP and this does not feel the same. It would run like crap but evenly. This runs as if it is down only one cylinder. At least this is my feeling and optimism. So odd how it just dropped though. All of a sudden. Power one second, then none the next.

Ok, I moved the coil and the code went with the coil! So I am pretty confident it is the coil. I have one on order and should have it swapped by lunch time! Now to get some plugs on order!

If you get a chance, try to get that 11170 code read at the dealer. Ive never seen it before and it's not even listed in the tech manual I have. Guessing it's something new. I'd love to update it. Good troubleshooting results

New coil fixed all codes and issues!

Shiv, I am out of warranty and the code is cleared so I am not sure how to get them to read it. I had that code once before when I tried to go from V4-V5 when the ProCede was locked. Unlocking it made the code go away. Not sure the relationship there.

Maybe someone on the boards works at a dealer and can enlighten us on what the code means?
