rear wheel bearing on e92

What's a ball park figure to replace a rear wheel bearing on a 330i e92? I previously had some clicking coming from the rear which disappeared and now I am getting a 'humming' or 'whining' when going 60+ which leads me to believe it could be a wheel bearing. It's going to the local indy on Monday, just wanted to know what I can expect in terms of cost if it does turn out to the wheel bearing?

Fronts are about 300 plus labour, and my guess is the rears will incur higher labour charges. The fronts are a bolt-on combined hub/bearing, so much easier to change...

300 plus labour?? I checked the part on GSF and it was 80 for the premium part, sounds a bit steep for 300 plus labour for one wheel bearing!

Probably 300 from a main dealer.

Stick with a good brand like SKF and you'll be fine buying aftermarket.

Got my f.ag bearings from Germany for less than 100 a pair. I read they are the oem manufacture. Fronts are a DIY job in my opinion. Rears grand if you have a press or decent puller

Your looking at around 250 from an indie, around 70 for the rear bearing and 2.5 hours labour.

Fronts are probably more expensive because you have to replace the whole hub casting with a captive bearing, rather than just press in a new ball race...
