Why is it that 328i (N52) owners must pay $500 dollars for a tune that give off that low of a gain while 335i (N54/N55) can pay way less then that to make way more power? I understand we don't have turbos which makes it less tune-able, but still $500 for 15 hp doesn't seem reasonable at all. $36/per hp??

I've been modding cars my whole life - doing it for a living for about 10 years. An honest peak 15-20hp for $500 is a deal. This tune is not all about peak HP btw, it really improves throttle response and mid range power.

Can never compare turbo to na gains, Way easier to make power on a boosted car..

Is it worth to get this tune without a 3 stage manifold on a 328i? I think im going to make the trip down in the spring.

08 328i 6 Speed Manual ( im only in central NJ )

Coming from a G35 I think its a worthwhile upgrade that wont make the car any less reliable/drivable just add power ( this is my daily ).

That's just the nature of the car. Can't compare a N/A motor to a FI car.

Its like revision 3. They continually improve the tune so we offer the latest and greatest.

That price is "installed" right? No other fees?

It says 328 on the list of the 3 models available, but then a little bit down under FAQ it says "Why isn't this avilable for the 328?"

So is it or isn't it?

Mike if I plan on doing a 3 stage intake manifold should I wait to get the tune or will it not matter if I add the intake manifold later?

Also how long ( roughly ) does it take to apply the tune?

Only asking if I come to Philly with the GF & Kid for the day after I would get the tune on the way into the city.
