I have been to Goodwin Tyres for most of my cars.
I think they only do tracking and Geo is comprehensive.
Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks.

I definitely recall them doing full geo set up. I must admit, i have not been there for few years now I live in North London. If you used them in the past you must live local to Ilford area. Definitely try them, otherwise Elite Wheels & Tryes.

Thanks mate. After reading your response, I contacted them today, but they close after 5:30 and they were gone when I rang.
Will give them a call tomorrow.

Last time, when I was with them, they were keen that rears do not need altreation / tracking even without looking at car. But that was front wheel drive.

If I go for geo, shall I ask them for all 4's or only 2 front?
Thanks.

Mate,

You have to get a 4 wheel alignment done on any BMW.
Even if the rears are a little out of alignment, it will still affect how the front is set up.

"Camber/castor/Toe" are the different types of adjustments than can be made both front and rear - the angles of the wheels etc.

If you have lowered/uprated suspension, ask them if they have the settings for "ZSP Sports suspension E90".
That'll work good for you

Another I would reccommend in your area is Dixon Cheng at DMS.

Makkan, generally front wheel drive cars esp audi and vw do not have adjustable rears, on bmw you can adjust rear toe and camber, my car was drifting/hovering to theright under hard acceleration, all sorted now

Actually cars based on the Golf 5 platform onwards (A3, Octavia, Leon) do have adjustments available at the rear.

Thats right.
Dixon competes in the Honda Challenge with an aquaintance of mine.

Not heard any issues with the S2K lads breaking Dixcels, I suspect its the usual fitment/hub runout issues by the installer.
He uses them so they must be up to the serious abuse of racing!

Anyhow, I know some very 'fussy' customers that use him
Also good for tuning some pretty exotic machinery too.
His rates for regular chassis work/alignment is very competative too.
