FYI: I have an '09 manufactured in May, it's an N54 fo shooore. I think (could be wrong) N55s came out in October of that year, which actually were model year 2010s. I got sports package with 18" wheels ... which means OEM oil cooler, but I think that was true with '08 as well. Better iDrive with '09...

One thing with the LCI (Life Cycle Impulse ie facelift 09 up) is that the rear track was extended and you can't get as aggressive wheels/tires in the rear. M-Tech package cars a pretty hard to find used (at least in the northeast). If it was me, I would be looking for a 08 335i with the sport package and just upgrade to LCI mtech exterior parts later as well as the shift knob and steering wheel. Just my 2 cents.

Oh i see what size wheels are on the Msport pack 18x8? and what size is the base wheels? for the on 09

I believe there are multiple options but someone else chime in if I'm wrong. The base for sport pack is 17x8 front and 17x8.5 rear. Then the 18"option is 18x8, 18x8.5. Then there is a 19" option for the M-Tech which is 19x8, 19x8.5.

All spot-on criticisms. I'd also add that the turning circle on the S60R is huge (8 ft wider than the 390) because the platform is the same as they use in the larger S80. It is big enough that it makes parking the thing an incredible pain.

I drove an S60R for a year after selling my e46. I just sold it this month in favor of an 08 335xi coupe. It's a world of difference.

18x8.5 isn't a problem with the right offsets. 18x9 is a little harder usually requiring rolling and camber in the front. The rear has no problem.

Sweet i drive my cars very very hard so lots of grips is needed for mountain roads, on ramps

and some track use. idk is it will be as nice as my 350z RIP...

Depending upon the options you want, the '09 models have very noticeable improvements in the iDrive system, Navigation is on a hard drive instead of DVD, and there are some nice exterior tweaks as well

Well in my opinion, you can't go wrong with Apex-Arc8's but unfortunately, they don't make a 18x9 with offsets favorable for our cars unless you want to run spacers. They balance light weight with price pretty well. I'm not into Japanese wheel designs but if you are, and have alot of cash, that's another good light weight option. You can also go with Forgestars which will make you wheels with custom offsets if you can wait and have a good amount of cash. Any way you look at it, you're going to be limited to a 255mm tire in the front (without work) and those fit on 18x8.5's. And by the way, square is better for handling, as these cars have quite a bit of understeer from the factory.
