I know... Another new Member thread
But, I couldn't contain my excitement any longer and needed to share. I've lurked around these parts for years now, knowing that one day I would own a 335i. Although I thought I would only ever buy a alpine white coupe... I had to settle for the exact opposite.
![]() Picked up my new to me beauty in Dec. Actually this 2007 BSM 335i is kind of new, with only... wait for it... 4,500 miles! Bought from a very meticulous owner who babied it since purchasing new. Honestly, this car cannot be any cleaner and I think to myself how lucky I am to now own it. Subtle mods have been Procede chip, Vishnu DCI, Black lines, Morr wheels, carbon emblems, black grill. I've also tinted 35% and clear bra'd the front end (not shown in pictures). Thanks for looking. Comments welcome. Any info about what I should be looking for in regards to such low miles would be greatly appreciated. So far I've just flushed the break fluid, oil change, and ran some Techron through the tank |

I agree. Although the sport suspension definitely helps with the gap, it still does not look right to me and needs to be lowered. I also think a new bumper will be in my future. Pre LCI looks sorta bland nowadays. I'm not complaining though, I still have a hard time walking away from the car without stopping to look back and admire.

Damn I just realized that car has been driven an average of 900 miles a year for the past 5 years. What's the story behind that? I thought I was pathetic for putting on only 2,000 in 10 months.

Previous owner had a paid company car. I think like most of us who are OCD and having the option, chose to drive that car instead of putting his 335i in danger.
That and traveling extensively for work meant the bimmer hibernated in the garage, connected to a battery tender for most of it's life. |

Low milage is awesome but like others have said repairs are going to be a bitch, especially on the 07s. I would consider CPO'ing it if you can, or at least buying a reputable 3rd party warranty.
Regardless, car looks really good and that milage is perfect for modding. Have fun!

Also, I usually average about 7k miles a year. If I CPO this car, will I even benefit from it before any major issues arise? Any third party suggestions? |

I think the car is real nice. congrats and welcome. do you like the chrome window trim? I wrapped mine as I'm a "chromophobe." That would be a nice, cheap, simple mod that makes the car a little more aggressive IMO. Also, have you considered a rear deck spoiler? I have the M3 one, but there is also the OEM sedan or M-Tech spoiler which is a little beefier.

I honestly think you may be best just budgeting for the maintenance. It's not as bad as many people make it out to be. Just depends on your disposable income. You'll soon see many people shouldn't be driving these cars because of the costs. |

such low miles mean that the common parts that would have failed under warranty, didn't, and now you're going to be stuck paying for them.

LOL. I haven't heard many things about Union being crap gas. Either way, I am not a normal 76 guy, it was just the closest station available the day I bought the car. Chevron 93 is my usual, since this is the closest station from home.
