I believe they are currently looking for testers with upgraded turbos and or some form of DME tuning....Would be nice to see what it does on twins vs single...if anything significant

There was mention of a screenshot of a 600whp dyno controlled by a piggyback in the other thread that was closed. Is there something you aren't telling us?

I'm in the market for RBs @ $4500 installed, but I've put the single ahead of RBs (because of lower torque, and more peak WHP) assuming the kits are available before summer and they can price it ~$6-7k installed.

I'd expect if the stage 2 is more than 6-7k the adoption rate will be slow until it comes down.

I believe Shiv said there will be one stage but with 3 different turbo options...This one currently is in the middle

The key word there is "installed". Not sure how much you're expecting installation to cost, but I think the kit itself needs to be under 5k to really sell. I think I'm dead center of the target market and that's where I get queasy. Under 4k it would be a no-brainer. If I had ended up buying an EVO instead I was planning to spend 2500 on the turbo only.

But whatever the price maybe it doesn't matter..This is freaking AWSOME!! GREAT WORK SHIV!!

I guess depends on what is included....
new intake manifold, new downpipes, new chargepipe, single turbo, proceed and PWM meth if you don't already have one...I'm very positive it will be close to 10K. plus installation. Get ready

Pretty sure they're using OEM intake manifold, I think you mean exhaust manifold? I already have Procede so lets see...

Exhaust manifold - $2000
Downpipe - $500
Single turbo - $1000
PWM Kit & Charge pipe - $1000

So that's roughly $4500+ whatever Shiv charges for R&D?? Someone correct me if I'm missing anything...

Is that too much? I just looked up how much Full Race manifolds go for and $2k doesn't sound like a rip off to me

do the diesel and petrol engines have the same drivetrain??? the reason i ask is bcuz if the 335d has so much torque y couldn't we just switch out the axels and w/e else is needed for more strength??? could be a viable solution being that it had 500+ft lbs of torque

You would need to recode and reflash the Trans module probably which is basically almost impossible without ZF help .

LOL...good luck then.

Didn't HPF already give a price on their entry level kit?

Exactly so why would shiv put himself so far out of a competitive price point? If he beats them to market and is priced well he has a huge advantage. Time will tell.

Just my opinon: Vishnu was never priced well. Why ? Because he couldn't. He relied on pre-made 3rd party hardware, just like now. The Procede was 3rd party hardware, the meth kit was 3rd party, the turbo piping is 3rd party.

The price will be higher than most expect. I don't care anyway...

Procede is not a 3rd party product. It is manufactured by us. And I don't think any manufacturer of turbo kits actually builds all the components in house.

I'm about to upgrade Turbos soon, and I would love to go this route. I only hope I can afford it....

I think 2k is wayyy to much for the FFTEC manifold. You can't compare them to Full-race.

Install should be $1000-1200 in the midwest, same as RBs if not a few hours more labor. I think under 5k for 600whp turbo kit installed would be great, but it's missing the BMW tax. If HPF kit (stage 1?) is $6k not installed I think we should all expect Vishnu to be very close to that, likely priced a little higher initially if they have the only purchasable solution, and then brought down some when HPF get's things going. The HPF price can't be ignored when there are only two companies selling this setup.

The question for me is whether or not any other tuners will buy a single turbo and change their tune to work with it...
