My 2008 AW 335i Daily Driver - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Hey everyone,

I want to officially introduce myself and contribute back to the forum that I've used as an amazing tool for modifying my car the last couple years. I live in Ft. Lauderdale, FL and I'm the proud original owner of my 2008 AW 335i.

A quick background: My previous cars included a 1999 Saab 9-3 turbo which is when I first fell in love with turbocharged cars. I upgraded my Saab with an aftermarket ECU, full 3" exhaust, intake, and BBS wheels. After selling the Saab, I purchased a 2004 Subaru WRX which only fueled my desire for modifying cars. My WRX was upgraded with a Cobb accessport, VF-34 turbo, Perrin intake and intercooler, STi injectors and fuel pump, full 3" exhaust, and Rotora wheels. The WRX was protuned by XX-tuning and dynoed at 304whp which made for a reasonably quick daily driver. This leads me to my current dream car, my 335i

As of right now, she has:
JB4
Active Autowerks 3" downpipes
Cp-e intercooler & Upgraded Oil Cooler
Cp-e intakes
Bosch spark plugs
ECS boost gauge
M3 spoiler
Di-noc 3M carbon fiber interior
Alufelgen SF-71 gunmetal 19" 8.5/9.5
Continental DW 235/35R19 and 265/30R19 tires
I also want to note that I'm sitting on stock sport suspension

And everyone's favorite part... lots and lots of pictures along the journey!

Yea the covers came with the Cp-e intakes which was a nice surprise.

uber clean! great choice in mods, especially the wheels.

suggestions: blacklines, coilovers, gloss black grills, vinyl window trim black, n paint/plastidip silver "rods" on front bumper black.

The boost gauge is probably my favorite non-performance mod. It adds incredible value in everyday driving and I can't believe it took me so long to get one.

I originally ordered the Cp-e catless downpipes but were on backorder at the time so I decided to go with AA instead. I love the catless downpipe sound with my stock exhaust, there's no drone and sounds aggressive at WOT. However, if I had to do it all over again and had extra time, I'd either wait to buy a used quality downpipe or the VRSF which has been getting good reviews for half the price.

I don't know why, but BMW emblems in the wheels add so much to the car that I can't stand not seeing them. Great mods so far though, and a beautiful car!
