Who has a loaner BMW or getting one in Brooklyn - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Who has a BMW loaner at the moment or going in for service and going to get one soon. I want to use that car to try coding with. It wont mess the car up so don't worry at all but I want to practice on it for the first time. Let me know! Once I do it, I will code your car for you with whatever you want when you get your car back from servicing. I will only do ONE simple coding to the loaner to show the MPH in the digital cluster..Its a loaner and its not like its your car so dont be afraid. It will only take the most 15 minutes of your time if your local to Brooklyn ( near Verazzano Bridge area). PM me if your interested...I am available on Wednesday or Friday of next week from 1pm-6pm...It will be well worth it as coding costs about 100-150 these days..

I already know how to code the injectors if you decide you need coding for that at the moment.

I told you I can...just bring your car by my showroom either on Wednesday or Friday this upcoming week.( 765 65th street) ..Call me if your coming so I can bring my laptop to work....Also you need to find out all the injector values before you come...Its easy to get them...Take the engine cover off and look at each injector and copy down the numbers. Each injector has 6 numbers on it example you will see 582 227. Copy them all down starting from the front injector to the back one (near the cabin area is #6 #1 is the front of the engine)

Try it on ur own bro, follow diy its pretty str8 forward, did it on my car. just back up ur files.

I would feel more confident to try it on a loaner...Bes maybe I can meet up with you and you show me first hand on how to do this...Are you free anytime next week? You should be local to me! PM me your cell numbers!

It's really hard to mess up the car with regular coding (unless you modify and don't backup the VO).

Yea sure, im free any sunday afternoon. Today i might try to install 3 injectors around 3ish..Let me know if any sunday works for u, even today/tonight.

Do you think it's possible injectors could be coded improperly (like dzenno's) but not come up with misfire codes etc?

I assume yes, my car has 3 old style injectors as bmw calls it, but car feels like its mifiring, changed the plugs still the same and no codes are thrown, so i bought 3 new injectors and gonna install and code them my self..

I read at the other forum that its normal for some reason the last value jumps either +.01 or -.01 Others have experienced this also, so I would not be worried at all...As long as the numbers match that you put into INPA, it should all be good...

+1 If you're going to take a chance do it on your own car. If you ruin a loaner and the dealer finds out the person with the loaner would be responsible.
