Plastidipped my wheels

Took me about 2 hours to do with the wheels on.

Don't worry I covered my brakes and everything so I didn't get any plastidip on them.

Some of you may like it and some of you may not.

Btw i didn't see any cars that were alpine white and had black OEM type 159's so i figured I'd pull the trigger. Greatest thing about plastidipp is that this is completely REVERSIBLE

How does the plastidip hold up to driving conditions?

I guess we'll wait and see cause I just got done with plastidipping my wheels.

But from all the other forum members who've used plastidip on their wheels non of them have had any other complaints about it.(such as the plastidip peeling or whatnot)

Why didn't you take the wheels off to do it?

you did this with the wheels on the car? wouldn't it have been quick to take them off rather that covering everything for overspray? index cards work wonders when masking of wheels to paint them with the tires on

Was too lazy to take off all the wheels XD. I also had a lil technique for the brakes and such.

But that's a really great idea, i didn't think of index cards. I'll def keep that for future ref.

How lazy can you get... Did you at least clean the wheels first?

Just wrapped it around with a huge cloth, which covered the brake pad/disc. To ensure that none of the plast dip got through i even put some tape behind the spokes of the wheel just in case.

it looks good. I was thinking about doing that to my stock wheels too. anyone know how difficult it is to take off (in case I decide to go back to the stock color)?

Shouldn't be too hard at all, just prick a little hole in the plastidipp with a toothpick and start peeling away!
