Question on Offsets
Maybe this is a dumb question, but I'd like someone to verify something for me if possible.
So: 1 inch = 25.4 mm Will a 10" wheel with an offset of 20 poke the same as a 9.5" wheel with an offset of 13.65? Here's my logic, the 10" wheel is a half of an inch wider than the 9.5" wheel so theoretically it should stick out .25 inches more than a 9.5" wheel with the same offset. And .25 (1/4) of 25.4mm is 6.5mm. So, 20 6.5 is 13.65. Is this logic true? I know no wheel will ever have that offset, I'm simply asking if my logic is correct.

I have a question, I bought some coilovers, previous owner said he had to run a 5mm spacer on his 189s because the wheel was hitting the suspension. i dont know the offset of 189s, but im guessing somewhere in the 30s, if i use a rim with a lower offset, low 20s, would I still need the spacer?
