Yeah it's a good chunk of cash. I debated about mods or driving school, and decided to go to school.

From what I was told by fellow M owners is that you can mod a car all you want, but it's not going to mean anything if you can't drive it to its true potential. The whole, "a car is nothing without its driver" concept. That and I'm looking to get some future track time at Summit Point so I wanted some professional pointers and seat time in a performance center M5 to learn the ropes and handle a heavy V10 car.

I think I made a good choice.

I agree. When it comes to lap times, a skilled driver in a slower car (Miata, S2K) will definitely own a lesser skilled driver in a fast car (M3, M5).
