Putting 17in rims on a 330i w/ SP Package?

So far I have replaced two of my run flat tires. Cost was $460 each  , one on the right front and the other on the left rear. So im driving from new york to new jersey, i'm driving through Staten Island and guess what happends................. The freaken flat tire warning appears on my idrive. Keep in mind i JUST CHANGE THE FREAKEN RUN FLAT TIRE LAST THRUSDAY!!!!!! WTF is going on? run flat tires good for 30 miles? It's only been 4 days! 4 D A Y S ! I'm hoping that the sensor just went on for no reason and none of the tires really have a hole in them. Wishful thinking I suppose. I'm gonna go bright and early tomorrow to get it checked out.

BTW is it possible to put smaller rims and thicker tires on a 330i w/ sport package?

Garage List
Sorry to read about your bad luck with RFTs.
I also have a 330i sport. For the winter, I have switched over to style 158/17" wheels with Dunlop M3 snows. So far, very smooth and quite along with improved ride compared to the 18" wheels/tires.

Yes you can put 17 " in the 330.

As for your RFT indicator, did you reset it after changing the tires ?

I'm assuming the dealership did it when they replaced it on thrusday because it did not come up immedately after they changed it. Is it possible for the average non-mechanic folk to reset the warning?

Forget it, I read the manual and realized to reset the FTM. I think it's operating correctly now. Thanks benoitch!
