How many people prefer 6000k over 5000k d1s HID? - Page 2 - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

I haven't upgraded yet, but I'm going to go with 5000K to look more OEM.

I got the MTEC 6000K D1S bulbs and I love them! Very bright and visibility seems very good (definitely OEM comparable).
They match my Lux 5.1 AE's very well.

I have these and they are freakin awesome. Used to have some aftermarket 6700k bulbs but the Osram CBI blow them out of the water.

Damn, after reading, I should have paid $50 for the 6k replacement when I bought the AE bulbs.

I heard about those CBI's. They are suppose to produce more lumens than 4300K yet have the color of 5000K. I just wish BMW had a decent projector.
