Take a breath guys! This news was hot off the presses. R&D isn't going to start for a couple of weeks, so it will take some time.

Snow Peformance believes their meth kit would work on our cars too. They are looking into it and will get back to me.

I never heard of a gearbox failure in our cars due to power increase. My car has the ZF 6HP26 (600nm limit) and put down in the last dyno 404hp and 833nm on a MAHA LPS3000 considered by the experts as the most accurate dyno. After that, the IC piping was improved (complete 60mm stainless steel piping with EGR and butterfly housing bypass) followed with a little ecu tweaking.

The gearbox is just a bit sluggish on upshifting at wot because it revs pretty quick and hits the redline a lot stronger than stock, but at manual/sequential shifting it is normal.

The gearbox has over 100k miles with the torque above the manufacturer limit and never had a problem but the oil and filter is religious changed every 30k miles.

It is insane the potencial of these engines. My turbos is still stock and i can keep up already with very fast cars like a stock Porsche 996 turbo. I'm curious to see your results with the WMI.

BMS received a OEM 335D chargepipe last week, which they will use to create a nozzle mount solution for the meth nozzle. According to BMS the project is slow going since they are working on other projects at the same time.

Terry does extensive work on his own vehicles before he'll ever put it on a customer car, even the guinea pigs. You can count on that. I have no issues trusting him whatsoever.

I would expect so, but I will still let you guys try it out for a period first.

As far as I know, he does. I imagine he would, so that he can do testing on that to start.

Subscribing... Thought about doing this and manually tuning the car if no one would start the R/D on the kit. I talked to Burger months ago on this and they said there wasn't enough market for meth with the diesels! Guess they have reconcidered!

Anyone think about manually tuning a universal snow kit? I have used meth on a few cars so far and is not difficult. Hobs switch activation and just getting the jets right would be a day at the track. Anyone?

"Sorry guys, our local 335D test car has been busy, so no meth kit progress has been made. If anyone out there is looking for a meth kit and does not mind drilling/tapping their chargepipe for the nozzle, just email me, and we'll get this rolling."

So if any of you eager beavers do not want to wait and don't mind drilling holes in your chargepipe contact BMS!

I would be all over this, but I'm afraid that my wife would drill holes in my charge pipe if you get my drift.
