313 Replica's - People Thoughts?

Morning Guys,

I need a new set of 19's, after checking my tyre pressures at the weekend, my front left was down to about 14psi, all the rest were in the 30's.

I damaged it a while back, after being forced off the road, by some p***k in the middle of the road on a left hand bend on a country lane.

Getting to the point, I've seen these on ebay, end tomorrow, what do you think?

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2609749555...84.m1423.l2649

Thanks for comments in advance.

Definitely worth a look if you already have tyres on your current 19's..

Also, you could probably sell the three good wheels that you currently have and make some money back? In the end these won't cost you as much as you first thought.

I like these wheels a lot but I've got some 230's sat in the garage waiting for some tyres..

Sorry if I've reposted, hadn't spotted the other thread.

At that price I'm very tempted, I've currently got a set of M3 replica's, refurbed about a year ago in anthracite, they've got a few nicks & marks on them.

Now that I know I've got a problem with one of them, not worth getting them refurbed again & I think the 313's are awesome wheel!

My M3 rep's arent staggered, so would need 2 new tyres for the rears. But at that price I'm very tempted............ what this space, I've till about 2pm tomo, before they end.

They are awesome just as shame they're going to be as common as a rain forecast. Nearly all E92 M Sports are now specced with them. Bit difficult to be different as its always the same wheels that suit the E92 (313s, MV4s and CSL reps) but BBS type rims are always an option. Bit like the Ford scene where Compomotives are massively favoured.

These are on a Buy It Now, not an auction so if you want them then just do it today, you won't get them cheaper tomorrow.

I believe these are the wheels that Yoro sorted out on a group buy, if you look at the auction, three sets are available. You can also source them on M3Cutters, 475 - 495 is the going rate.

Did Yoro not have fitment problems with the wheels?

I remember a post about rubbing badly?

I'm not sure, hopefully Yoro can add to this or OP, give Yoro335i a PM.

The picture used on eBay is the same as the one from the GB, unless borrowed that is then these could be another 'brand' of reps.

Cricmcn on M3Cutters has a wheel shop, might be worth signing up to that forum and talking to him about what he can offer. I've had various chats with him and he seems a decent guy, I don't believe he has a website though, just PayPal but his prices are good and I don't see any threads saying his wheels are cr@p.

Just read the group buy thread on the 313s, rubbing problem seems to be when using et27 offset not the et35 that is advertised, also some seemed to be fitting 265/35 tyres i.e. M3 wheel and tyre sizes!

Ian

ps Seriously considering a set of these, look awesome on cars in the local stealers!

Can somebody post a photo of E90 with these wheels on? (preferably on black car)

Wondering how do they look on E90?

I was toying the idea of a set of Cricmcn's CSL reps in 8.5 et38 and 9.5 et27 but I think that they might rub...seeing that 9.0 et27 313s rub anyway. I need to speak to him to see if he can get rear fitment for non-E9x M3 models (i.e. my 335i Cab), his price is 100 cheaper than BMAutosport for the CSL's.

Hi guys

Yes I did have rubbing issues with my set but I am not sure if its the wheels fault. I upratrd the tyres and when I spoke to chris I never mentioned this but I think the wheella would have been sitting to the very edge if I didn't uprated it . Just don't run et27 rears.. buy et35 and spacers to play around..

These wheels look very good and also csl reps are nice

Don't do it.

Get something original, rather than ruin the originality for those who got the wheels OE and don't wanna have to change them

Stick with et35 at the rear to play it safe. I have csl reps et 35 with no rubbing issues. Really like the look and price of these rep 313's!

I'd echo that comment.

Interestingly those Ebay reps are 8J/9J (OEM size for 19's), and not the normal 8.5J/9.5J x 19 you normally see advertised.

So ET35 is ideal,no problems with oversize tyres (265 or 275/30/19) and the potential to add 5mm spacers all round to amply fill the arches.

A good buy,no diamond cut faces to worry about

I suspect you're worried about others getting the 313's because you have them already and wish to remain exclusive.

The 313's used to be very exclusive, they were a BMW Performance wheel and sold via the BMW Performance 'shop' during the pre-LCI production of E92/E93's. Due to the price of them and the fact that the MV4 looked so good, I don't think anyone bothered. I think BMW ran the MV4 as long as they possibly could, they knew it cracked with RFT's but saved replacing it until the LCI was due, then no doubt used their stocks of unused 313's to fill out the range. We can still buy this wheel from BMW Performance but at a price of over 2000 + tyres.
