I actually have both tools. I have the Peake as I mentioned earlier as well as a laptop I can use INPA on. I can also use NCS Expert for coding purposes.

I bought a used IBM T42 laptop for $125 and the $90 BMW cable off eBay. Great investment to have both the laptop and the Peake took in my opinion.

Maybe just a spark plug thats about to die, or coil? id just scan for codes, it will probably give you a lead!

this is a hoax, i had two cars, done the procedure twice and nothing. may be it works in US only, or on some specific engines, but on euro 2006 320d and 2007 325i this doesn't work. tried tried and tried.
