I don't think that iDrive has that option. As far as I know the only way to control you heated seats is through the dedicated controls on the center stack.

there is a heated seat option that allows you to control seat heaters in a more detailed way. It is under the Climate option (off the main 4 choice screen.)

I just double checked my iDrive and the only way to control the heated seats is through the dedicated controls on the center stack. The only things available on the climate section are parked car ventilation, vent settings, and a few more things but nothing in regard to heated seats. Besides, what would you possibly do to the heated seats besides choose from the 3 intensity levels?

I assume that by catalogue you mean the brochure. Correct me if I'm wrong though. In the brochure though there is no mention of heated seats being controlled by the iDrive interface.

It may help you to either re-read where it says that it can be controlled by the iDrive, or perhaps scan it into your computer and post it here so that we can see what you are speaking of.

Make sure there isn't any fine print that says: European model shown or something along those lines.

You're not reading it wrong, but I've never seen that in any brochure. The brochure I have does not even show the Heated Seats on the options pages, just a mention with ZCW.

I also noticed that your brochure does not include 335xi and mine does, so perhaps you have an early version or a non-North American version?

Interesting question. It would be cool to find out there were more options, just because...

Well, it definitely says that it can be controlled by the iDrive. Maybe E90Fleet can shed some light on what's happening here. But I'm just curious as to what else can possibly be controlled aside from the three intensity levels. Maybe a timer before you get into the car?

Wait a sec, could it be that only the coupe offers this. His brochure is for the coupe. I have the 4 door, maybe that's why it isn't showing up for me?

i have a coupe and from what i can remember i didn't see that i can further customize my heated seats, just the 3 levels in the center console.. I'll check when i get in my car at 5:30 and post later when i get home.

No it doesn't exist on the coupe either.

ok... well that's answered.. might be something you want to ask your sales person about.. could it be an error?... or did they mean something else?.. or did they mean you could better personalise the climate of the car aka parked ventilation, strong medium soft air, etc..... anything that has to do with climate control... that's what i think they ment

$10 says it was a misprint, and they caught it and removed it.
