OK final questions, are you supplying these 2012 MOTION maps on a usb stick that you post to us?

Are you prepared to post the maps (you said they were free) and after we have received them, and are sure you are genuine - we can then email you for the payment to receive the activation codes?

Obviously if you say no, then it will be very suspicious as the maps are useless with a unique code that is tied to our individual VIN numbers.. so you have nothing to lose.. post us the maps and when we receive them, we know you are genuine and payments can be made..

What do you say?.

These maps are original, there are two different maps for BMW Australia: with large screen (9'') and with small screen (6.5'').
I made a lot of maps update for all regions- i don't have any problems wit maps update, because maps are original.
Yes, maps is free, FSC code cost, but the price is good so you could email me for the payment to receive the activation codes and you get maps for free too.
You could read Europe or America BMW forums, there you will find a lot of good feedbacks about me- all clients were happy.
I write you that for some guys from this forum, i give download this maps, so i think that soon they will write there

All - I am currently downloading the 2012 MOTION Maps and will install on Saturday morning... I will report success and ease of install then.

I can tell you so far... sieras5 has been a pleasure to communicate with via email and his price offered to provide my unique map code (based on my VIN) is extremely good value!

I will keep you all advised, but so far I am very impressed!

I also this morning successfully upgraded my MOTION AUS/NZ maps from 2010 series to the latest 2012 series.

I fully endorse sieras5 service provision as being honest and helpful. After the initial email was sent and the price agreed to (via PayPal... which is an added bonus!) - an email response was received within 30 mins with the download link and the request for my VIN so the unique map registration code could be generated.

A couple more emails later and I had all the instructions I needed, maps and unique code... effortless and friendly service provided!

This morning I copied my files onto a USB stick, went downstairs and plugged it in the glovebox port (this is mandatory) and told the screen prompt to upgrade my maps.

I inserted my code - then you have to go for a drive for the update to occur.

The system after about 5 mins, rebooted while I was driving and then silently upgrades the maps... I wanted to see what was happening so went to the NAV screen options, and there was a selection Navigation Upgrade... I selected that and then the install screen / progress bar was evident and I could see precisely what was happening.

The FULL upgrade process was all over after 10 mins of driving!! I have heard horror stories of 3hr installs, flattened batteries etc... but my full upgrade from start to finish was 15 mins!!

And am I happy? - you bet!

And would I recommend sieras5? - you bet!

I sent sieras5__ an email last night using the email address provided in his signature.

My experience was very much the same as QLD. Very easy to deal with, answered all of my questions and the price was very reasonable. He was up until midnight responding to my emails, great service.

My NAV maps were upgraded from 2009 to 2012. I haven't had an opportunity to test them yet but I look forward to testing them out when I head out to Willowbank this week as there are some new roads out that way which my old maps never picked up.

The download is about 4.5GB so you need a decent connection speed. After that you put it on a disc and load it into the car. NAV automatically recognises the new maps but requires you to input a unique code that is unique to your car and the installation beings. It took me about 20-25 minutes so I went out for a nice cruise and did a few pulls...

After that the NAV automatically restarts with the updated 2012 maps. I'm surprised how straight forward it was and I'm glad I did it so I'm future proof for a few more years (although I probably didn't need it).

I highly recommend sieras5__ . He was very easy to deal with, and as QLD stated, price is quite reasonable.
