up a meet and space it the first time, setup the second time and have to leave town for a family emergency. Honestly am bummed I couldn't make it tonight guys. I'm down in LA for the next two days dealing a family issue.

I have a buddy who has his car club of about 15 cars and they having a meet on the 27th at Ledbetter beach around 10-10:30 am and he told me a lot of other car clubs and fellow car enthusiasts are cruising to their meet. Would you guys be down to go?

Haha yea I'm down for our bimmer clique lol..yea I think it'll have more of jdm but there will also be some bimmers and audis.

we need an official clubhouse meeting location for this meeting you're talking about lol. but really it'd be cool to throw together a small 805 area bmw club, unless there's one I don't know about already. Could be cool to represent if we go anywhere outside of sb. My jdm friend down in la said it'd be badass if we call came down there. They have like 30-40 cars once a week meet up down there.

Tru and yea any suggestions for the clubhouse lol I'm down to have a 805 BMW club like you said and I hope the other guys are down as well. The only club I know is the mullholand car club which I think is semi big but correct me if I'm wrong. Yea it would be a nice caravan if we all could attend couple of those meets up there.

I think we need more than 5 guys before we get stickers why not try to go through BMW CCA? That way we can use their existing infrastructure. It would probably make us more legitimate as a club, if we seriously want to go that route. We could be a Central Coast Chapter. Anyway, I say we plan for the end of February meet at Ledbetter.

So I emailed BMW CCA and was told that establishing a new chapter is probably more hoops than we want to jump through. You have to have at least 100 BMW CCA members. What the regional president suggested was to talk with the LA Chapter and try to get a sub-chapter going.

The whole idea (in my mind) of going through BMW CCA is that it makes us part of a national organization, so if we are actually a legitimate club and not just a group of car guys that threw some stickers on our cars. We would probably also have a better chance at getting some support from BMW Santa Barbara, HP Autowerkes, and TC Kline if we were a legitimate group.

Anyway, I'd be down to talk more about this kind of stuff at our next meet.

But seriously between work and the rest of my responsibilities I think I can probably swing a twice a month thing. Would love to do a drive/cruise event once a month and an in n out thing once a month. At least that's what I could reliably commit to.

Yeah I was thinking it'd be cool (to start off with anyways) of just having like however many of us just meeting up once in awhile and have it slowly grow. If we started meeting at the same spot like every fill in the blank with however often we'd be known at that spot. I'm sure other guys or girls would notice eventually and we'd gain a few more people.


I'm down for a cruise though!
