UPDATE!

I learned some xml coding and created a custom ribbon! I also revamped some of the internal code to be more efficient and *hopefully* more future-proof and less prone to errors. I posed up a beta of v1.5 on the original post. Please try it out and let me know how you like it.

FYI this version is confirmed working on Office 2010. If someone with 2007 could test it that would be great! There will be no support for 2003, as there was not a ribbon.

Mac version hopefully coming next week!

I also re-zipped all the files with a more stable legacy zip format, so hopefully the issues some were having unarchiving will be resolved with this update

I have confirmation that v1.5 also works on office 2007!

Unfortunately, Office for Mac does not use .xml code for the user interface, so custom ribbons are not possible... bummer

UPDATE: all versions have a new routine to filter out extremely high AFR spikes during partial throttle and shifts. This now prevents the y-axis from autoscaling to the hundreds and messing up the plot.

UPDATE:

v1.6 now available, featuring support for ATR/ATP datalogs, and a timing analysis feature that highlights rows with excessive timing drops - very useful for those making their own maps!

UPDATE!

Brand new user interface, with all new features!

NEW boost leak logic compares Boost Mean Abs. to Req. Boost. Abs. to determine if there is a possible boost leak in your system! A popup message will let you know and highlight the cells blue in the data tab.

NEW Wastegate Solenoid logic compares WGDC Base to WGDC After PID to determine if there is a possible faulty wastegate solenoid! A popup message will let you know and highlight the cells blue in the data tab.

NEW RPM as X-axis option! Toggle this on to graph data vs. RPM, or leave it off to plot vs. Time!

NEW Auto-select ATR or AP... no more manual selection!

NEW Auto-naming of Logs! No more user prompt for naming! Just make sure your files are named how you want them before you import!

NEW Office 07-10 and OSX 2011 get LTFT and STFT graphing capability!

Many other tweaks behind the scenes should eliminate most-to-all errors some of you were having.

Multi-File Import!

Brand new help screen, click help to view, otherwise its hidden away!

As usual, Donations are greatly appreciated! I thank those that have sent donations my way!

This is awesome, thanks!

I get a strange error on Excel 2003 "run time error 1004, unable to set the pagesize property of the pagesetup class", but I click "end" and it still seems to graph ok.

Install a printer driver.... Even if it is for a pdf printer (you can find free open source pdf printers online).

Microsoft decided that if you don't have a printer installed on your system, you can't choose the paper size of a sheet.

It already flags when adjacent cylinders (3 or more) pull timing simultaneously. They will flag orange or red depending on severity.

Does that not suit your purposes?

Ok , so maybe I am a little dense. But I cannot figure out how to use this thing. Do I need to open Zasquatch's macro first, check the paramaters that I want graphed and then import the datalog CSV file? I cannot figure out how to apply this macro to the datalog CSV that I have. Does that make sense? The import option under file is greyed out when I open Zasquatch's macro first.

Any ideas?

Open my program

Select the parameters you want graphed

Click the "Graph Datalog" button

Navigate to your .csv files and select the ones you want (Ctrl-click to select multiple)

Click "Open" or "OK"

Sit back and watch your files get graphed

Easy peasy

When I click on the Graph Cobb datalog button, I get an error message (before I navigate to and select my csv file)

Error Reads:
The macro "datalog grapher v1.7 (OSX).xlsm'! Import' cannot be found.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help!

You almost certainly have macros disabled.

What version of Excel for Mac are you using? And as DallasBoosted mentioned, make sure you have macros enabled.

BUMP - new version posted. Some were having issues with timing analysis if Boost Mean Abs. wasn't graphed. This little bug is now fixed.

Now that I think about it, you must not be using Office Mac 2011. In prior versions of office for Mac, VBA and Macros were NOT supported. In true Microsoft fashion, if you open a file with VBA code and Macros, Excel actually DELETES all the macros and VBA code. The only way to get it back is to restore from a backup or download the file again

Microsoft is AWESOME.

Did the latest Datalog Grapher v1.7 (Office 07-10) drop auto naming?
Never mind. I pulled the file from the other sticky site. ;-) Works like a charm. Thanks!
