Ok, so I received them in the mail, but have no idea how these are installed. The video doesn't show how to gain access to them at all. Do I have to remove the whole headlight? Please advise me on the install. I was looking forward to putting them in before the work week begins and post pics.

You have to take out the 8 or so bolts underneath each side and the 3 in the wheel well to pull out to see it. What i did was jacked up the car and took off the wheel and then took off the bolts to the bottom and all in the wheel well so I could see what I was doing. Some reason they made the M3 alot easier to access.

Crap, seriously?? I've heard of a turning a wheel method. I don't suppose that anyone has done a diy on these? Looks like I'll have to wait for warmer weather now

You can turn your wheel to get to the 3 screws on the side but I believe you need to still get the bolts underneath to even get the wheel well to pull out. I took out the whole wheel well and I didn't see any openings to where I could have done it like the video that JLevi posted. It's not as bad as you think. The 3 bottom bolts hold the "scratch guard or the mudflap thingy" and the others hold the bottom piece and the wheel well together. Once you get those bolts the wheel well can slide out. I might be doing it the hard way. Maybe someone can chime in a better alternative haha.

joehoang is right, you need to go through the wheel well. Your car should have an opening on the back of the wheel well that you can see in the upper part of this photo:

I'm looking to by the amber ones!
Brighter than the stock halogen bulbs?
Do they flash on start-up?

These are about the same brightness as stock but offer a clean LED output. They do not flash upon start up.

They do flash on start-up. They flash intermittently even after the car is on for several hours.

Hmm... which is correct? Nick?
If they flash as Eclipsis says, it must be due to cold and warm bulb check.
Anyway the item has arrived already. I will see...

They flash on a 2011.5 M3, whether they flash or not on another year or model is an unknown to me.

Installed them today and I found they flashed on start-up.
So I coded out the cold/warm bulb check
