Premium should include BT, even in the great white north. Your dealer is probably a moron (most are).

Don't confuse prep with Bluetooth. I have prep I dont have bluetooth. They actually offer prep as a feature on the new car here which is meaningless. Been told by the dealer that BMW BT kit with install is about US$1000. Am going to buy Jabra headset and take holiday with left over instead :-)

Wow, wtf. 1000 is too much !
Paying 1000 only for a BT kit, for me it's totally not worth that much. I would rather go for a BT headset, less than 100!
By the way, in the menu, there is no any option for telephone up, so I think in Canada premium doesn't include BT. It may have preparation.

All E90 have the phone buttons in the wheel if they have any buttons in the wheel at all. It means nothing. I donīt have any phone related equipment in my meager euro spec E90 and yet I have the buttons.

Itīs just cheaper for BMW to have just one set of buttons wether the car has a phone or not. The only button difference comes with i-drive wheere the right buttons (non-phone) have different symbols and a different meaning than the non-I-driver versions

Don't know who his salesman is, nor the salesman's true IQ, but Bluetooth is NOT part of the premium package in Canada. Our premium package includes:
330i: Dakota leather, auto-dimming/folding mirrors, rearview mirror with homelink and compass, lumbar support, Logic 7 stereo
325i: Sunroof, auto-dimming/folding mirrors, electric seats w. driver memory, Logic 7 stereo
323i: Sunroof, Auto dimming interior mirror, heated seats, cruise control (half the price of the premium package on 325 or 330)

Of course, we also have xenons standard on the 325 and 330, and the cold weather package is standard. For more info, check out www.bmw.ca and try to build a car

Bluetooth and BMW Assist prep is an $1100 CDN option

dude, Canada packages suck. In the US, we get BMW Assist and Bluetooth with the premium package for only $2200 USD, and sunroof is standard for all models. Besides, Harman/Kardon LOGIC7 Sound System is standard in 330 model.
If you configure the same options as mine: Artic, steptronic AT, premium, Logic 7, Telephone + BMW Assist in Canada, you have to pay ~ $4000 USD extra...ouch...
