What is the engine code for the 330i?
I searched everywhere but only found charts for past gen 3 series.

Yup all E90 6 Cyl petrol engines are N52

330i one is N52 B30A

Lol nah, I just like knowing about my car.
I've always been a Honda person and I knew engine and chassis codes for almost every Honda and some Acuras.
The BMW codes are all new to me.

Isn't the R6 engine the 2.5l that that US does not have because of emissions? I've heard it is a hell of an engine.

R6 / NG6 is the collective name for the redisigned 6 Cylinder engines

The N52 range is part of the R6 design

The Direct injection ones are to be known as N53 and the 335i one as N54
