A Good Dealership Experience

I just have to say that I did have a good dealership experience at BMW of Macon. I needed a SAS (SZL) steering angle sensor and they quoted me $1100 to install and program. Being a certified Acura and Subaru tech I figured it was something I could do myself.... That's what I did... Installed the SZL in the parking lot (after a great discount from Joey in the parts dept), then they programed and had me on my by lunch. It was great and didn't cost me but the $1100 it was suppose to. I know that dealerships usually get slaughtered, but I had to post up a good experience.

They didn't give you any dirty looks when you were installing the SZL in the parking lot? I only ask because some places would probably do that.

I have a friend who is a tech at macon. They are one of the few places who don't care about mods.

That is exactly what I was thinking too! But none (that I knew of)!
