Show me your 335 brakes

I find that our calipers are really ugly. What did you guys do to make them look decent?

Post your pics, thanks!

Ok, I will share a trick with you that my mechanic taught me. For 2 of my previous cars, I actually bought ceramic paint, put my car on blocks, mixed the paint, painted the calipers and let it dry. Pretty painful process, with the fumes and all. Nice for the first few years, but inevitably parts of the paint will dry up and flake eventually.

So now, I use a specific garden chair paint "Krylon", cost about $10 a can and spray away! Does the job, dries super fast, and if the color fades with time, spray some more. Voilà.

No need to be anal about it!

I'll also be able to show you in a few weeks. Still debating between black or yellow to paint mine but might do yellow and if i don't like it switch to black later on

soak with brake cleaner, let dry, spray light coat of high temp paint, let dry, 2 more coats, repeat every year or 2.

Whats wrong with those covers? I think its a good idea if you want to change the colors more often or if you want a clean look without paying 5K for big brakes that won't get used in day to day driving. Where do you get them?

What's wrong is that it's fake. I just google'd "brake covers" & there's 783235235 billion chinese companies that make these things

What would be fake is telling people it is a big brake kit. I think it's fine to use them for making our calipers look cleaner. Our calipers painted still don't look great to me. I want to have something a little nicer than stock when I upgrade my rotors but I have a hard time justifying $5000 or more for a daily driver that will never see a track or ever be pushed to the limit. For me i like the looks of nicer calipers but don't need the performance.

I will likely play it safe and keep the stock looking stock and add some nice rotors.

Just my 2 cents

I agree, stock calipers look terrible. BBK aren't for everyone. I don't track, so why pay a few grand for brakes when the ones I have works good enough? I just painted mines Saturday... call it rice or not, I'm satisfied.
