DEPO P90 V2 L/RHD Switch

I just bought a pair of lights, and i was promised that they are UK Road legal, however once delivered i realised they are DEPO V2 P90 Lights, I made the silly mistake of fitting them in, without confirming what beam pattern they are set too. After a quick visit to kwik fit, the pattern is set to the left.

I need to switch them to RHD however I have no idea, Will i have to take the bumper off again???

I'm sure I read that these have a lever somewhere that switches the beam over to rhd. Try a google search you'll probs get a result mate.

from what I remember:
you open the back cover as if you were changing a bulb, you then reached inside, but to the side of the bulbs, using your middle finger you should feel a metal clip that flicks up/down.

Garage List
I'm pretty sure that lights that come with a true LHD RHD mode are rare as hens teeth. What most of them have is a lever that flattens out the kick on the side. The idea being that the kick up, let's say on our RHD headlights, is on the left to light up more of the road ahead without dazzling other drivers. The lever flattens that kick up so that when you drive on the continent you don't dazzle everyone. It's a mechanical version of those stickers you used to get for going abroad for your lights. What they don't do is move the kick up o the other side.

I could be wrong with regards Depos, but I'd be surprised given the low cost.

I have set of these lights and had the same issue come mot time.
They are all set as lhd from the factory.

There is a small metal clip that flicks up and down, near the bulb. Its easier to reach with the bulb out, but its very fiddly, but possible to do without removing the lights.

It does change the kick to the correct position on the beam pattern. I had this checked by my mot centre and it went through fine. It goes up to the left and flattens to the right.

Hi Mate
Welcome back and good to see that you finally bought them.
They look awsome. Looking forward to read your review.

Ohh yes, all of others have already replied how to change to RHD, so no point of repeating same stuff.

I presume these have the LED indicators then since they are the V2? Did you have non-lci halogen before? Any errors?

Hi, I have the same issue with my Depo P90 headlights. The plastic housing indicates that the lights are LHD, however I was promised that they were fit for use in Australia (RHD)...I've had a look quickly but I can't seem to find a lever to switch the lights over. I know this is a really old thread, but I was wondering if someone could post a picture of this lever or give more of an explanation of where it is located? Thanks!
