Brake Squeal After Changing to AP Racing BBK.

Hi guys,

I've finally pulled the trigger yesterday and install the AP Racing 7040 6POT 362mm brake kit.

After the installation, I did a few test run at low speed (about 30-40mph) and few high speed stop about (60-70mp) to make sure that there are no steering wheel vibration and squeal noise.

However, after a day of driving, my brakes starting to squeal really loud at low speed during the red light when I come to a complete stop.

Does anyone know why is this happening? The noise is really bugging me.

Thank you very much,

Nico

Not sure, but doesn't performance brake kits comes with ceramic brake pads? therefore it squeaks more than regular ones I believe,, but just double check with someone

I'm sure you have a more abrasive compound than stock, if so they will squeal more often when cold. After a week or two of normal driving it usually become quieter

Sounds like a proper bed in wasn't performed. Do that first. Improper bed in brake systems will likely to be noisy, it's rarely the other way around.
