BIG UPS to Steve... I live in Vancouver, Canada and I had troubles with setting up INPA and NCS.. I sent a PM to Steve, he emailed me back in the same day! He then set up my laptop remotely and IT WORKED! I never meet the guy, but I can say that he's the man when it comes to coding!

Too bad it did not work for me too

However, a great man who helped me with the programs, and coded for me remotely...

But most importantly I learned a lot from him

thanks man, respect!

Nice Steve!

I want to change my triple blink to 5 too!

Think you could do it on the F10?

Alan

Thanks Steven for the help

A big thanks Steven for helping me out big time tonight, you really know your stuff. I was messing with different versions of INPA, NCSExpert etc.. just not getting anywhere and getting more confused, been at it for a full 3 weeks every night after work. Steven pm'ed me after a post on another forum and in a matter of 15 min. he downloaded the correct software to my laptop, set it up and he was talking to my car.

No I can concentrate on learning about the car coding.
I'm now reading about Revtors NCS Dummy stuff including VIM. I am very familiar with Hex so no big problem understanding his write-up. Good stuff.

Again Thanks big time Steven!

Henry

Alan I have coded tons of F10s already, and by far your car is the nicest F10 that I have ever had the pleasure to code. You modded that thing sweet

Haha thanks again Steve.

Loving my DRL tailights on the F10. Looks pretty wicked with the smoked lens during the day.

I need to find something else for you to code now

Just got back from the garage and coded the following:

CAS komfortschliessung_FB aktiv
NFRM ASP_KOMFORT_EINKLAPP aktiv

Now with the keyFAB I can lock, roll up all windows and roof and also fold in mirrors, I can also unlock, roll down all windows and roof along with fold out the mirrors.
I have comfort access and this works as well.

Also coded this:

LH_UND_NSW_NICHT_GLEICHZ nicht_aktiv
FL_UND_NSW_NICHT_GLEICHZ nicht_aktiv

So now the fog lights stay on when you use your high beams either to flash or have on steady.

I also tried coding the option to start the car without your foot on the brake, I have an auto transmission. I set Anlasssperre_BLS to nicht_aktiv but what happened was that the car would not start on the first button push, either with the foot on the brake or off. And on the second push the car would only start when the brake pedal was pressed, so I turn it back to aktiv.

car:
E90 2011 steptronic with NAV and comfort access
(it also helps that I know how to read and speak German)
Thanks Steven for pointing me in the right direction!

Henry

I registered on E90 just to write this post. I have a 2010 535xi and I got my car coded today with Steven. Truthfully, I would never post stuff like this but I deal with people everyday and I know when I see talent, passion, and effort. He was informative, attentive, answered all my questions, efficient, and everything worked as promised. He's done quite a few BMW's already so this is not his first rodeo and I couldn't be happier with the new preferable creature comforts.

Steve, your a stand up guy, I highly recommend you and keep up the good work.

Happy modding!

Tonight I coded to my E93 which enables the side mirrors to fold in the same time the door is locked..Before when I press the lock button on the keyfob the mirrors would not fold in until I held the keyfob for an additonal 2 seconds or so. Now after coding the side mirrors folds in simultaneously with locking of the car. This coding makes it soooo much more efficient then standing there holding the lock button to have mirrors close.

Edit...I changed it to .05 sections instead of instant close...Now its one slightly longer press like a half second which is quick but I have the option to choose!

I have sucessfully coded with the coding program NCSexpert for the E series models and the E-Sys coding software for the F series models. I can code ALL BMWs for the following model years:

-E90, E92, E93, E80s (all E series basically) 2006-2013
-E53 X5 2000-2006
-E60s 2004-2010
-E70s 2007-2013
-E83 2007-2010
-E46 2004-2006
-F01, F10, F12, F13, F20, F25, F30 ( all F series besides Z4 or X5) 2009-2013

These are a few of the most popular basic codings available:

-Key fob opens/closes windows/mirrors/sunroof/trunk lid
-CIC module DVD in motion
-Remove seatbelt chime/warning
-Enable windows to close when door is open
-Remove I-drive legal disclaimer on startup
-Euro double blinking hazards
-Komfort Eject- Key fob auto ejects from socket (E series only)
-Fog lights stay on while flashing high beams
-Fog lights stay on with high beams on
-remove bulb errors (LCI RETROFITS , LED replacement bulbs, etc)
-Registering new Battery
-Injector coding (e series)
-Reverse mirror passenger side to tilt further down to help avoid rim curbing (e series)
-Digital Speedo
-Efficient Dynamic Shifting (MT only)
-AE as daytime running lights
-Alpina B3 TCU transmission FLASH (only good for E series 3/07 till present)

+ There are many other features that I can code that are on the PDF spreadsheet for the E and F series that you can find and download at the bottom of the page:

I can help anyone interested in CODING, to try it out for themselves and code YOUR own car, as it is not intimidating as it sounds and looks. I can actually give you a tutorial on NCSexpert as well as the E-sys for F-series coding

The laptop or netbook should be running Windows 32bit. A laptop running Windows 64bits is fine, but requires a VMware software to run a virtual machine. (Inquire for more info on that setup).

You need to buy a D-can cable from this link if you are coding with NCSexpert:
http://www.one-stop-electronics.com/...&product_id=16

For F-series coding with E-Sys you need to make your own cable which you can download the PDF at the bottom of the page..

You can PM me or Text me on my phone if you have any questions about coding or want a tutorial on how to code with NCSexpert or E-sys...Please text me instead of calling me! My location is roughly 5 minutes from the Verazzano Bridge area. I am available Monday through Friday from 10am-9pm and Saturdays and Sundays, I can fit you into my schedule.

917-939-4980

Steven

The new development these days that I am not sure if you guys have been following on the other forum, but I have sucessfully flashed my AT tranny module using the Alpina B3 Tcu flash. This is one of the most significant ground breaking, earth shattering, game changing mod that I have done to the car...The Alpina B3 GT was debut in 2011 and there was only a limited number made..Now I have this software loaded onto my car!!!.This software makes the AT shift so much smoother and the shifts are crisp and precise.. It rev matches perfect and you no longer feel that lurch forward when changing gears whether up or down. The cluster is given a new look too!! Regular drive you get an indicator of which gear you are in D (D1, D2, D3, etc)
In DS mode now its give a new S1, S2, S3 and also with Manual M1, M2 M3 etc!!!

The rev limiter is also increased as well as the calibration for torque limits. THe flatline supposedly is addressed with this flash. I just flashed mine two days ago and was waiting on some feedback on this to let you guys in on it!!!..In drive the car feels so smooth you dont even feel the gears change at all. WHen you throw it into S mode or M mode is when you will notice all the benefits of this flash...!! Here is a pic of the new cluster showing S mode. If your car is produced 3/07 till present then you can have this! Anything earlier then 3/07 production date, I am sorry you missed the boat on this...

got this done yesterday by steve and totally transforms the car, I was skeptical at first but this transforms your transmission into something totally different, love the smoothness.
