We ran into some issues with his cable that he bought. I used my cable and there were no issues. He left with the knowledge of how to code. Just need to see what the hell is up with the cable that he bought. I am clueless to why its not working..Its probably one of those defective cables....
Hope to see again soon!

hey steven, great seeing you and thanks for taking me on as your apprentice, i am now able to code
well mostly mentally and partially physically. that computer and cable was kicking our asses, now the computer is A++ and working ...but as far as the cable goes no luck yet, i called t mart and asked them if it was the same cable posted in the first page of the thread and they confirmed it was the same part number, so i sent them a video of it not working and the information you advised me to ask about with the white circuit board and am waiting for a response. they better take care of it!! LOL, anyway thanks again, and hope to see you soon. oh ad that drive back from brookyln in rush hour, thats a friggin experience in itself. had to go full matrix and dodge cars left and right trying to get onto 278 . people be crazy around there.

well after a serious back and forth, they are sending me the right cable. but im waiting at least another week for it which really does suck, but when i get it i will be ready to do some more coding
![]() btw anyone who orders the cables, as steven mentioned, make sure it is the right circuit board, it will save you a lot of time, (JUST ASK ME AND STEVEN LOL!!) THIS IS WHAT IT SHOULD LOOK LIKE! ![]() if it looks like this but does not have the white circuit board and/or protruding led light IT WILL NOT WORK, it should not have blue circuitry and a non protruding led light. looks can be deceiving, LMFAO. cheers! ![]() ![]()

Just coded a build date 6/06 E92 2007 today and my modified cable worked flawlessly. It connected to the car without a hitch. I Have never coded an E92 with a earlier build date of 3/2007 and it's nice to know I can now. So far I probably can say I coded close to 30 cars now without incident!!! It was nice to meet you today Andrew. See you next week for your 2011! Let me know about the laptop setup.

guys, update:
Tmart is more than fixing my situation, they are very courteous and professional and if you need a coding cable, i HIGHLY recommend going to them for your needs! and theyve lowered their price on the cable, wink wink. anyone going to bear mountain and if you have the cable for your car, ill be more than happy to help you code your cars, all about paying it forward! update: have been reading up on every coding option possible and comfortable mentally with just about all of them, now to just get the right cable and practice some more. reading up on ABG, PROCEDE/BT..nothing can clear my airbag light.

hey! sorry for hijack! i am brain drained but anyway--here goes..wanted to see if there was a way around the 300+ emulator for tpms so i went for it. in the following, i kept it brief, there any many, many more steps and details to the process but that will come in due time. think its time for me to call it a night.
update: completed my big boy coding session on my own car tonight with my friend, who helped greatly by providing his coding cable, handing me beers(really odouls) every half hour and confirming my car was not on fire periodically. i DO NOT advocate being under the influence whilst coding your vehicles for reference, when i say "light" it is that low pressure warning you get in the info display.Test conditions/subject: my garage at 56F LOL on pre-lci e92 335xi Control: tried with a set of wheels w/tpms for confirmation my system was working properly before coding, verified no tpms light on. NOTE* don't be running over a box of nails to test out your tpms, it works. take my word for it variable: wheel set without tpms, triggered tpms light. Results after coding(specs/config/diy?..soon lol): Long story short, SUCCESS, no tpms light.. impressions: great success, how much? about two to three hours of your time and patience if you're new to VO and/or expertmode but WELL versed with coding programs, and a good amount of hair pulling and head scratching. there is no unplug of rdc module, although i dont see it having much use as it's inactive. it is also completely reversible. was it difficult? ill say not for the faint of heart but doable if you are again, well versed with inpa/ncs/yadda/yadda and know your way around a computer. if i say ncs and fuse in the same sentence and you're lost, DO NOT ATTEMPT. but remember- i just started coding seriously friday onwards after countless hours of research, patience, and diligence, to the point where i felt comfortable modifying the vehicle order, so if i can do it, you can too. just remember when you update you will "lose" some "stuff"(will be explained later) would i do it again: probably not for a really long time. did i win and prove "that" ********* website wrong? yes. are they complete and total tools over there? yes. do i pride myself in that fact alone over pretty much everything else at the moment? yup. Will i write up a DIY for them over e90post? HELL NO. conclusions--nice for people who dont want to or don't have tpms on cars that dont use FTM systems. i will say if you have tpms on your wheels already, dont go selling them . this is on a pre-lci xi e92 and i can't promise every car or every model will work flawlessly but give it a try if you're brave Now it's on to defeating those DAMN! airbag/srs lights without disabling my airbag system all together which for me might be a safe bet.cheers,
