Headlight opinions for Monaco blue

I'm about to buy Angel eyes and I can't decide between two. I have a MONACO BLUE pre lci 2007 e90 BMW 328xi. No mods as of now (except for 35% tint around all sides and back), but I'm looking to get Angel eyes first, custom exhaust set up, wheels, then coilovers. Will the black housing, silver eyebrow and U style led ring off rolling gears fit my Monaco blue pre lci? Or should I stick with just black housing and regular Angel eyes?

--The first option is depo ones off of fishcake321 on eBay

--The other option is the rolling gears Angel eyes with silver eyebrow.

I think the best option for pre-lci halogens is to replace with oem LCI halogens with the Lux led for the rings and the best phillips bulbs for the low and high beams.

yup!

If you want to see real customized headlights click my sig link. These manufactured copies always look bad in real life. Very obvious they are aftermarket and scream 'cheap' to me.

You can buy the angel eye parts yourself and mod your own headlights. Some paint and angel eyes are not expensive plus a day's time(mainly paint drying). There are DIYs on this forum.

Ultimately comes down to your own preferences.

Do you want to keep an OEM look? Do you want to do an HID kit (thus needing projectors)? Do you want to stand out and have something more unique?

There's no right/wrong answer, all comes down to what YOU want. And your budget lol

Oem halogens are most oem obviously, but even with replacement halo bulbs those rings won't get super bright. Also no projectors so you'll be stuck with halogen bulbs (or be that douche that blinds everyone).

Depo makes a good compromise, close to OEM look, but full LED rings and projectors.

Or go with the DTM style Rolling Gearz... I love mine but they are by no means an OEM look. Super bright rings though, and looks more updated IMO

My 2 cents

I like your style look, I'm just afraid the grey eyebrow won't match my Monaco blue

Agree you will not be disappointed with the rolling gear DTM style ring headlights. They are probably brighter than OEM and also come with LED indicators. My only concern is if they will go with blue since they come in white or silver eyebrows. Your best option will be is to get color matches vinyl to cover the eyebrows.

The Rolling Gears headlights are probably the only aftermarket headlights I would consider if you have halogen headlights. They don't give off the cheap vibe like you get from many aftermarket choices. They would look great with Monaco blue too.

Thanks. I heard there are two options, one with a silver eyebrow and one with a white eyebrow. I couldn't find the one with the white eyebrow but which one do you think would be better?

I got mine from shopauto247, look through their store if they have the white one. I think it would look better than the silver also.

A blue vinyl eyebrow isn't a bad idea either. I've been contemplating doing something similar.

Look through my build thread or the mars/rolling gears thread, I've talked about the shit quality of their products at length, having now owned 2 pairs of their headlights and tail lights, all of which have malfunctioned.

Were those issues only with your first pairs?

Which vendor did you get it from? Wonder if that makes a difference.

Mine have had no issues, been through several rain storms and car washes now without any issue.

Shopauto247, they replaced them both once, and theyre all broken again. Go for it if you want, to be honest I'm sick of answering questions about them. I get a ton of questions every day on YouTube, Instagram, and in my build thread and in PM's of people asking me about them, and I'm getting tired of explaining over and over. Nobody listens anyway, go for it.

(I'm done being an old man now. Lol)

I'd be frustrated in your shoes too. Sorry to hear about your experience.

I wonder if they'd be willing to give you a partial refund (if not full), then maybe use your faulty set as a rebuild project...

I would love to customize my headlights, but wiring is one thing I'm not very good at and I'm afraid I'll mess them up. How difficult do you think it is, and is there coding involved?
