Disabling OEM Voice Command

Hey All,

I can't seem to get the oem voice command disabled. I have turned off BT and Assist at the OEM HU but still when I press the voice command steering wheel button I get a beep and stock voice command. I installed a Z120bt and AWSC interface and relocated the OEM HU to the trunk. No errors and Assist is functional when activated.

At the moment, when I push my voice command button, both the Pioneer unit and stock VR start asking for commands. Does the OEM HU output commands like disabling BT over the MOST connection? If that loop is not closed, I would be getting errors right?

Any guidance is much appreciated!
