Send address to BMW via Google from Android phone? - BMW 3-Series (E90 E92) Forum

Is there a way to send addresses to the BMW assist from an Android phone? I know how to do this from Google maps using a PC but not the mobile version. Anyone know how to do this?

Have you tried using google maps, then save address as contact?

Get into the car, then go to contacts and accept the contact as destination

Finally! Yes! Just downloaded it. Sent to car with ease. Will check reception in car at lunch.

A little late to the party, but what a great app. I'd been sending notes to Google about matching map sending functionality to the mobile version for a long time without any luck. Good for this developer for doing what Google couldn't.

While the app is free, I would have been more than happy to pay a premium for it. It's that good and useful.

I really hoped that this would work but it doesn't on my 2006 330xi nav. Seems that the bluetooth address book that is on your phone is totally separate from the nav "address book". I save the address as a contact on my phone, then go to "communication" and pull up the A-Z search and can find it there but the only options when I click on it are to "call" or "add numbers". The address is not even recognized. I was hoping that it would see and address there and give me a "navigate to" option which would be sweet! No such luck

I don't have BMW Assist and it's probably not worth the cost in order to use the android app to send to car.

Any other suggestions on how to get around this? Google maps is so easy to do voice search to find an address but then it takes 10 min to enter it into the BMW nav.

Reviving an old thread. I kinda missed my iPhone 5. Since bmw apps not yet on android so I downloaded this on my HTC one. I works perfectly! I'm thankful I saw this thread.
