Speed Camera POI/BMW Professional NAV

Any UK people here? This seems to work atleast in your country. May be bit illegal though..

There are instructions how to modify your BMW Navi DVD to add the speed camera locations. Unfortunately does not work in my country, but just thought to share this with you if someone finds this interesting.

http://www.bmwnavaddpoi.co.uk

(I do not know if this a repost or not, sorry if it is..)

There is another thread with this information.
I followed these instructions and it worked.
Why does it not work in your country? what country are we talking about?

actually, the link was posted on message #1 above:
http://www.bmwnavaddpoi.co.uk

It has detailed instructions on how to do it.
What it does not tell you is where to find the speed and red light data.
I got that data from:
http://www.poi-factory.com/

And there are more categories for POIs.
Once you know how to add one, you can add as many as you want.

I don't have files per state/country.
I only have a file with US and Canadian locations.
send me a PM with your email and I will send you the file.

Thanks KP22 - the dealer said this coundn't be done (then again he promised me a delivery for 21/9 and phoned today to try and defer this to 22/10!)

I have already got the PocketGPS csv files.

If I do this in a Mac presumably I wont need the UNIX converter software for the disk.

have you had a go at this yet?
