Adaptive Headlight error after fitting LED angel eyes, a ballast placement issue?

I did a lot of fiddling around with the car yesterday; I fitted H3 LED's to the adaptive headlights and codes out the bulb checks, I fitted LED angel eye's and the cleaned the engine bay.

All was well until last night when two similar but different warnings appeared;
Cornering light on the left failed
Right cornering light failure

These warnings only appeared when it's dark enough for the adaptive headlights to work. There were no errors then when turning left, the left error appeared, then I span the wheel to the right and the right error appeared.

The adaptive lights still swivel as they should.

Having read into this, it could be moisture however there is no condensation in the light and the fact that the error only appears when turning left and right and not on startup leads me to believe that the LED ballasts are blocking the movement of the adaptive light a little.

Am I on the right lines?

See if this is what you're looking for. Code out Adaptive Headlights? http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=773380

Thanks Cat.
The lights work and turn but show the error when the wheel is turned rather than all of the time.
Rather than code out adaptive functionality; does this sound like an issue with the placement of the LED ballasts I tucked into the lights?

I have not replaced any of bulbs up front, so I'm probably not in the position to give much advice.

However, if the ballast could easily be removed (or repositioned), it would seem like the next logical step.

Sorry I could be more help.

Sorted. I'd already coded out the high beam cold checks to avoid errors due to the LED adaptive headlight bulbs.

As the error was only appearing the first time each each adaptive light was activated; it led me to believe this was a bulb check.

I coded out the high beam warm check and boom! All sorted.

Well that makes sense, but I didn't associate the error with the warm check at first...
