I'm interested in this too! I want to go meth but I dont want to have to fill up once a week or every two weeks. I assume a 2.5 gallon or 3 gallon tank would last at least a month even with a heavy foot no?

Garage List
2008 335 e90  [0.00]
2007 e90 335  [2.50]
i had the 2.3 gal cooling mist trunk tank and it had a crack in the bung neck and replaced with the 6 gall DO tank...to big, I am currently looking at the AIS 3 gallon or DO race unles i can get a 3 gallon fabbed in aluminum locally, the 6 gallon is way to big to not have a baffle, when it gets low you slosh to much and suck air

I do not, sorry.

3 Quart tanks go pretty quick especially if you claim to have a heavy foot.

The reality is I can make a 3 quart tank last a year+, simply dont go past 5-8 PSI, however, if you one to drive around boost a lot you can start depleting your meth supply rather quick.

For me, when I drive, I either got WOT, or I stay out of boost completely when I have Meth.

Without meth I would opt for more partial boosting.

The tanks are largely dependent on needs/wants.

If you want to play it safe, I'd suggest an FIA-approved fuel cell, like the 3-gallon ATL RA103. Going to cost you, though.

I've also been looking into this, but I think adding 10' + of meth line is even more of a safety risk because that is more places for it to leak as well as introduces fuel into the cabin (trunk).

I had a seamless trunk install in my car for atleast 2 years. Leak Free. Leaks 99% of the time stem from fittings, which are all primarily in the engine bay. Only 1 in the trunk and that shouldn't leak as its a more controlled environment with less extreme changes in temperature.

I'd recommend anyone looking at a trunk install to go with a sumped tank and also upgrade all their fittings at a minimum to metal.

Anyone has the option of upgrading to stainless steel braided lines for an even better setup with less risk.

I'd be more worried about the winshield washer setups then anything else, as I'm sure you guys have seen me post about before.

I've said before, the safest meth is no meth.

What do fuel cells actually do and is anyone using them on this forum?

I'm thinking of going to a trunk meth setup when I get enough cash..
