Cheap E92 LCI tail light mimic mod

As the title says. what do you guys think? What I used to wrap the tail light is some $10 red film from eBay. I think it looks great and just like to share it here

Looks awesome. I did the same on my pre-lci e90. I used the eBay tints as well, but 2 months later and they are faded due to sunlight. They are pink now and visibly different than the rest of the tail light

damn!thats bad news!it wasn't that hard to wrap but not so easy, too. Not something I will feel like repeating every two months. By the way I wraped the whole thing instead of just the turn signal part

I did it on mine as well, only with VHT red tint spray. It made a big difference, I held off on buying LCI tails for about a year because of it.

Yeah, it was annoying to see the vinyl turn pink. Who knows though, maybe your vinyl will be different. I think I'm just gonna replace the vinyl with red VHT tint.

I tinted mine red as well for a few months..I have LCI tails now and wish I would have gotten them sooner. The red tint looks alright, but the LCI tails really update the rear imo.

I used Krylon Stained Glass spray paint on the tails of my old 328 E90. Looked 100% stock and never faded. Considering doing this again to my current pre-lci.

I'll also say that I too tried the red vinyl film and it looked WAY too pink for me. Krylon is the way to go.
