You can do that all on the VicRoads Vplates site.
It will show you the how the combo you've selected will look on the colour of car you've selected.

Personally I'd go Black background with White writing.

Black background with white numbers looks great on jet black. Gold numbers looks quite tacky IMO.

that really depends...I will say gold font will be a bit risky for euro plate while white is the safest bet...
I have mine one non euro, but black background with gold font. You can have a look if you want to lol

euro plates only come in 1 of 4 colour combos... so i cant get these gypsy colours.

its either black/white, gold/black, silver/black, white/black

im leaning towards silverblack atm

I vote for black and white plates, they will match your white powdercoated wheels.

Black wheels are so passť.

I have black plates with white on my sapphire black car. I also opted for the small plates so they don't stick out. I wouldn't go with the gold or the Euro plates, but hey thats my opinion only.

The Number Plates for my Car are with silver background with the numbers in gold colour, as my car is in black colour, the silver and gold combination is very attractive when saw the car. Please produce some attachment links about which other colours will suit my car best.
