I'm I missing some Buttons? PDC & HDC

Hi All

Have just spent some time reading through my new E92 335d User Handbook, during the recent torrential thunderstorm downpours and have come across a question.

I’m I missing the following buttons:

Hill Descent Control
PDC Park Distance Control

Attachment 81903

The handbook is unclear as to whether these were options or come as standard.

Does anyone with a Jan 2007, E92 335d SE have them?

Isn't Hill Descent Control only on the xi model? If you don't have this model then you won't get and don't need the button. I think you only get the PDC button if you have front PDC. The manual is written for multiple models and rarely will all features mentioned actually be on your vehicle.

I have the PDC button purely because I have front PDC - it allows you to activate PDC when driving forwards into a parking space. Standard PDC (rear only) can only be activiated when you select reverse gear

I'm not in the US that often, but often found large concrete raised blocks in most car parks, that most people just nestled up to.

Not sure you can do that in your BMWs with the lower spoilers ?

The PDC button can also be used to switch off the beeping. If you have parked with your nose close to a wall and return, it starts beeping when you select reverse.
