Watched this at Starbucks with the volume on full. Got a crowd around me. We were all hoping for a highway pull or two... but oh well.

My guess is that the ET was pretty crappy - did you see how much rubber was laid out at the launch point and then the second patch of rubber at the 2nd cone (my guess the 60' mark)?

I'm guessing a so-so trap speed ... at some point a little more traction can help your trap speed.

Wasn't this discussed? I think he ran the 1/4 at 133mph.

Looked like it hooked pretty well, althought it seemed to bog in 2nd.
To be quite honest it looked semi-weak at launch, I expected more wheel spin(or a more violent "grab" if traction isn't an issue) launching off a two step.

Traction was so bad that the two step limit was brought down to 3900rpm so it didn't really build any boost (maybe 1 psi?). The test driver was also babying the 1-2 shift due to traction issues. Traps started off at 127-128 but crept up to 133 by the end of the test session as the driver got the hang of it. 133 is also touching the effective rev limit in 4th gear so perhaps a 100rpm higher limit (7300) would have gotten 134-135mph... I don't know. Also, these are all instantaneous vbox trap speeds. They will drop slightly when it averages the last 60' like a timing system at a dragstrip.

How are the other in-house builds coming along? Haven't heard much of an update about them.

Ahh, that makes pretty good sense. I knew it wasn't launching anywhere near 100% lol

The music killed the video - I had to stop watching it.
