Please re explain what happened, your post is very unclear.
Is this the first time installing it?
Other mods?
What codes did you have?
Is the car making boost now that you restarted it?

Ok sorry
So first time installing it by myself and my cousin who knows about cars but not specifically BMW and when we were done I started the car and everything was normal I drove out of my parking lot and when I floored it on the road at map 0 i felt like I wasn't even driving meaning I lost power from how it use to pull without the jb4 installed and after flooring it a few times my engine malfunction light would come on the idrive and then when I drive around at normal speed it goes away but I can never get the car to pull like it use to when stock! So do u have any idea of I just have to do all the setting for the jb4 or did I mess my engine up? Or did I not install the jb4 correctly? Also I bought the jb4 off someone from the sale section and it was used for 2 weeks so do u think the person sold me this messed up the jb4 and sold it to me to rip me off?
Btw I don't have any other mods

Exactly what Beemw35 said. Also, check all the connections. When you're done with that, check them again. Or, try removing the tune to see if the problems go away.

That, or you can look into this product. I hear it's great.

Make sure all the plugs are pushed in all the way (so that they click in). Make sure they're not upside down. Just go through the installation instructions and make sure you guys didn't fudge a step. Recheck your work.

New problems right after installation are "usually" the result of installation error, not a broken product.

It's a piggyback, doubtful you can damage anything.

Sounds like an install issue. If you wind up needing help just email BMS.

Did you disconnect your battery when you installed it? This is the same problem I had with Procede but jb4 has been flawless so far. Disconnect everything and do it all over again, it's either the connection or you got a bad jb4.. Did you connect the two naked wires correctly at the end to the right blue and red wires?

Well... Does the harness match his car? Why did you sell your damaged jb4 to him? ok j/k there is something wrong in the connection for sure then. Why did you sell your Jb4? I thought you were anti tune and were scared of tunning your car..

Did you have any issues with it? Did you install it? I know I love mine.
