335i Sedan Upgraded Audio Quote. Good deal?

Got a quote today to upgrade my 335i Sedan Audio. I don't have the premium audio!

Pioneer 6.5" TSA16004C

Pioneer Component TSD1720C

Pioneer 4 Channel Amp (sorry don't know model)

Installed for $599

I know next to nothing about speakers and amps

Is this a good setup AND is it a good deal

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Those speakers won't fit and pioneer isn't too good of a brand anyways.

First off you need to find out exactly what system your starting with. Base has no tweeters or center channel. Hifi has tweeters but no center channel. Logic 7 has tweeters and a center channel. Is your budget $600 or are willing to spend more?

Ok...that's weird...guess I'm going to the wrong place then...that's what they put together for me.
I do have door tweeters...
I do not have center channel.
Does that mean I do have the HI-FI? I'm surprised.
What I do know is....my system sounds like crap....no bass what-so-ever.

I'd like to stick to $500 to $600. I dont need anything to shake the block....just something that sounds good and has more quality.

According to the accumulated knowledge here

None of that stuff fits , unless they hack up your car.
The mounting depth for the doors is less than 50mm
thats under 2 inches not to mention the fact they would have
to cut bigger holes in the door and it would be hitting the window.

Read this first.

I looked at this stuff all the options a long time before I did anything
and came to the conclusion there is know way to do this correctly unless
you are willing to spend 1 to 2k .(shaking or no shaking)
Its more a matter of what fits than anything but the stuff that does
fit is not bottom line stuff, for the most part.

I were you I would look up Technic

I were you I would look up Technic
He lives in your state and is and expert on these cars.
There are few shops that know how to properly do stereo in
and e9x. I think he is in Fort Lauderdale not sure but its some
where in Florida.
At least get in touch with him as he will know who is competent
in your area. If you can DIY a MusicarNW Kit is a good way to go.
