He might not even wanna sell it for a long time so then the resale value might not have any impact.
I agree 100%. If the person likes it then thats all that really matters of course.

I will be glad to post up my pictures when I get mine. I pick it up on 20 July. I'll post some pictures after the OEM Front Lip and Hartge Spoiler and window tints get done. I can't wait for this thing.

I thought about it but it was not an option when I ordered my car. I believe that the Blue goes better with saddle brown or black. MB/Saddle was my first option but then decided on a silver car because I felt the red interior was really cool . That having been said, I'd probably skip out on this color combo as much as I love CR.

I saw one at the Orlando dealership a month ago. Looked terrible to me. Too garish. But hey, were all wired differently.

It's your ride.

I'm ordering a Montego E92 soon on an Employee Lease (I work for a dealer) and this was my first choice for color combo.

However Mom Vil said she'd kill me if I got it. That was a big negative for the combo

And then I told my sales manager what I was thinking about ordering. He basically in no uncertain terms said "NO WAY was he ordering me that combo." If I was paying full price and buying the car outright he said he'd be happy to order it. But, being it's only a 24 month lease and he's already losing a build slot, money on the car up front and he's going to have to sell the car in two years I didn't have a prayer of getting that.

Therefore I'll be getting Montego/Black

if you see it from this perspective, it makes sense not to order that combo. If you're looking to keep a high resale value, then this is not the best choice. So, from your manager's point of view, he's doing the right thing for the business. But if you intend to keep the car for an extended period of time, I really doubt that this color combination will hurt the seller much, if at all.

I just joined e90post, first time seeing that car. Pretty bad combo, but if the owner likes it that all it matters. But still its hard to sell after.

Doesn't work for me.

Love montego, but needs a calm interior.
Love the coral red, but works best with SG.

Ive been kicking myself in the a#@ for not demanding this combo from my CA...they said they were unable to get this combo. The purpose of custom ordering your BMW is for it to be unique (to you and to other BMW's)

I love this combo, it demands attention and a question of "how they did it" Its also referred to as the "Superman Combo" You can bet not many if any others will have your color combo, and that makes it unique and possible a higher value to the select few.Like I said Im kicking myself in the ass for not being more demanding in my ordering process.

Just my 2cents

I think your CA was affraid that you might cancel and they will get stuck with that combo, which I don't think would have been so bad, the combo will still appeal to young people and sell for sure
