Anyone looking for M-SPORT Package?

What do you guys like/dislike about the M-Sport package for the 2010 328i Coupe? Does the M-Sport package hold the value of the car when you sell it down the road?

Your feedback is greatly appreciated....

I think most people look for these options mostly in used bmw market anything more is a plus. Premium/Sport/Cold weather - If you got M-Sport even better, Nav is good also, enthusiast's will look for 6MT definitely.

I wouldn't necessarily say it holds its value but it will make it even easier to sell cause people want all the options or as much as they can get in used market.

To answer your question about it holding more value than a non m-sport, it's not going get any more money (maybe like $100?), but it will help you sell it quicker than a non m-sport car.

I checked the seller's Window sticker and listed $3500 for the m-sport package and $4100 for premium package. I am surprise the m-sport is not holding the resale value compared to some other limited edition cars out there. I was thinking m-sport is very hard to find. Shouldn't the value of the car goes up? (supply vs demand)

M- sport is GREAT on a 335 convertible, especially when it's black sapphire with coral red interior
Only trouble is you get the occasional driver not familiar with BMWs asking you if it's an M sometimes
M-sport or nothing!

Maybe a little money like mentioned, Packages dont really get you much more money normally. Just makes it very easy to sell when time comes. You can try when you sell it to get a little of what you put into the packages but fact is NADA and KBB dont have alot of the "package" options to value into the car so when someone looks into buying one they select what the site has and expects to get it for that price if not less - Thats why normally you wont get nothing for your mid-highend packages.

for me M-Sport is a must. Changes the look of the car from a regular looking 3 series to something much sportier.

forget about M-Sport making the car retain it's value better. You have a lot to learn about used cars and retaining value if you think that.

M-Sport is just straight up sexy.

Not sure how well it holds value since it's cosmetic for the most part if I'm not mistaken. But I love my M-Sport and I don't regret spending the extra $$$ on it. It changes the look of the car and looks much more aggressive compared to a non-M-Sport E9X. Of course it's no M3, but I wasn't looking at the M3 when I was buying.

If I were shopping for a used BMW, my must have options are HID and Sports package. Aside from interior / exterior color, it'd all boil down to how well it was kept and it's history.

Although I must say it does but a damper on the whole modding journey at times, while it may be pricey, it is gratifying and downright fun to mod your ride little by little

There is really little else I can put on this car to make it look more awesome, but I do miss modding the shit out of the car cosmetically some days

I will agree that the M-sport makes a difference as far as standing up from non-sport and even some Sport models.

When I looked for these on the used car market they are rare (mostly on E91) and 6MT and carried a premium.

I already started purchasing some M-sport components and I know probably I will not get back $$$ when I sell my car. But certainly will enjoy modding her

I will say go for it!!!

The m-sport comes with sport suspension and I think sport seat. Does anyone know?

M style seats, M steering wheel, M sill plates and different front and rear facia. Sport suspension except on the iX which retains the stock .

Luxury versus sport. Different strokes for different folks, right? Some of the buyers that want more elegant or softer ride might opt for wood interior and plush suspension. Some of the buyers that want an aggressive driving machine might opt for an M or at least an M-pkg.
