Making the car louder

I'm looking to make my car louder. I want people's heads to turn when I press on the gas Currently I've only done the golf tee mod but it's not loud enough for my taste. I've been looking into doing a muffler delete but I'm just afraid that the drone will drive me crazy. What do you guys think?

My second option is to get a catless downpipe which I'd doregardless if I got a muffler delete or not. How does a catless downpipe with a Performance Exhaust sound? Will it be louder than the muffler delete and will it drone?

What should be done???

Heads to turn in wonder, or in annoyance?

You want catless downpipe.
The only question is do you want drone or now?
The drone will drive you nuts.

Go for the BMW Performance Exhaust, it's a beautiful sound paired with the N55 especially. Significantly louder than stock and it's an OEM part.

You can get the performance exhaust like CJ said to make it louder, or catless downpipe with stock exhaust which would be louder also.

If either one of these options isn't loud enough for you then you pair them together (PE exhaust with catless dp) That should be loud enough.

I personally would never do a muffler delete on a BMW, that's just me tho.

Is the car auto or MT? Forget a loud exhaust with auto. I find nothing more annoying than an automatic car with a loud exhaust. At least with MT you can control what gear and rpm you're at and the exhaust doesn't drone as bad. Look into a catless downpipe and hpf exhaust. It'll be stupid loud.

I have a remus race exhaust and a catless dp. I first got the remus slip on system then put on the dps. The exhaust without the dp sounded really good, nice and throaty and loud. Biggest difference when I added the catless dp was tone of the exhaust. It sounds way more natural and free flowing. Before I put the dp on it sounded pretty synthesized and fake, but with the dp it sounds straight amazing. It did make my car a lot louder, especially on cold starts, but definitely biggest difference is tone between carted and catless dps.

To get your car as loud as possible, muffler delete and catless dps would be the max, but i would highly recommend just putting on a good slip on system and some catless dps.

After a 4 hour trip cruising highways in a catless dped, muffler deleted car, does the drone make you want to shoot the car or yourself?

Your head will explode...
Muffler delete sounds cheap. Just go with a PE + DP + Secondary Cat delete !

This.

My PE is waiting at LTBMW, I'm literally driving the car from the dealership to the shop for my coils, fender roll and PE install

Loved the sound of the PE on my 328, it sounds even better on the 335 in general but especially on the n55 335's

Skip to 2:05, the white 335 with black Iconz 880z wheels is my car. It has a muffler delete. I like it. The drone is only bad when going 70 up a hill on freeways. Other than that, its good. Or I just got used to the drone and don't feel it anymore. Best 150 I ever spent.
