1. They've been making SCs for Mustangs for 25 years now, and not that much has changed.
2. This is a lot more complicated.
3. This is for a much smaller market, so there will never be enough money in it to put a whole team of engineers on it long before most potential customers are ready to buy.

One day it will be a bigger market. That is when we will start seeing the efforts I believe.

I don't think that has anything to do with it. My point was that RB turbo came on here and said that the complexity and limitations of the engine are really hurting the likelihood that they will ever develop a turbo for it. Initial observations are key, and its not sounding good for our platform if one turbo maker doesn't sound optimistic then others will probably follow suit.

I think there are dozens of companies who could have (and still could) solve the hardware problems any time they wanted. But what I think happened is that they realized that it would require a serious software effort as well, and that wasn't their area of expertise. So here we are...and luckily it appears at least one shop has reached critical mass on the software side so that an acceptable product can actually be delivered. It'll just get better from here...

Are we all just standing around with our dicks in our left hands and waiting for the wonder?
