I've had a claim on my Admiral policy and had no issues. I didn't use their approved repairers and I used the BMW approved bodyshop and all was fine.

This was a claim on my policy for roof tile vs car

Admiral aren't the cheapest for a "standard" car but when you've done a few mods there price doesn't shoot up through the roof!!

I've had to claim twice from Admiral on the wife's car. Once a total loss after she put it in a ditch and once for a light front impact that ended up a 50/50 settlement. In both cases they were excellent to deal with. I let them take care of repairs at the approved repairer and the job was good.

They are always by far the cheapest for me when I've done comparisons but I would actually stay with them because I had such a good experience with claiming........

Admiral for me too, 700 inc all the little bit and bobs I've done. Crazy how some of you 21yr olds are willing to pay 1500+ to insure your car, I don't think I've ever paid that for anything and I'm only 25. I got stung in my first year of driving because I bought a 106 GTi however, turns out this was a blessing in disguise as each car I've had (all have been GTi's, turbo's/the fast model) has been insured at a better rate due to owning something tasty as the previous one. I'm often asked what I've owned before when I'm stepping up the performance ladder and never had an issue however, the 335i was a struggle as it's my first RWD car and I think the insurance co's assumed i'd just lose on a bend...most told me to call them next year for a competetive rate.

I've had one claim with Admiral on a previous car and they were superb.

my 330i was only 630 last year, can't get a quote below 980 for that car this year! Insurance has gone up a fair bit

335i 33yrs old 11yrs NCB good postcode - I paid 760 including business use for me and the mrs with Admiral

Adrian Flux's best price was the same like for like but strangely they got a price of 670 if I put a JB4 on it?! I said could I get that cover but decide later whether or not I wanted the JB4, they said no, if it's based on having one it needs to have it fitted.

Weird...

Im 24 with 4 yrs NCB driving 7 years with no points or accidents and for my 325d m-sport saloon its £1026 a year and thats with LV with 5% discount in a WA post code.

I personally think thats cheap considering.

*Ill add seeing as people are talking about previous cars mine were a 1.1 106 and a 1.2 Clio.

Have to say when i made a claim Admiral were excellent.

I ran into the back of someone in my old car, within one hour of me ringing them with the other parties details they had called him and arranged repair of his car, two weeks later it was all done!

And they have been the cheapest for me even after the accident (27 on a 335D)

Well in that case!

I'm 35, tootling around in a 335d M Sport and in one of the nicer HU postcodes. Costs me 385 a year with LV, used for business & personal. Can't complain about that!

Hmmm thats a ball braker, I know Warringtons bad because of its slap bang in the middle of Liverpool and Manchester and a couple of specialist insurers wont touch WA post codes

Ironically, Liverpool Victoria wouldn't insure me because of my Liverpool postcode.

Directline refuse to quote me, despite the fact they used to be amazing!

I had a Mondeo ST 2.5l v6 at 18, 330i sport at 20, and insured an e92 335i for 2 months at 21, but at 24 they wont insure me on a 335D :s
