Well, after the many examples of people re-trimming their interior I've decided to follow suit...
I've never worked with vinyl before and I have to say that I'm quite surprised by the results! (think I've found my new hobby )Anyway, I've got some crappy pics - hope to get a few better ones, enjoy. Here's one of how it looked before... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

![]() Didn't break one bit actually - surprised myself, it's normally the first thing that happens! ![]() There were quite a few points where I was really worried about breaking something but the best tip I can give is....Dont be afraid. Most of the pulling off of trim is just common sense and does actually need a bit of brut strength to get it off. Give it a go - you wont be disappointed! ![]() P.S. Tools wise, I used a pair of plastic lever things from my boys bike repair kit (what you use to get the tyre and innertube out), they were perfect to get in the gaps between the trim and dash etc without damaging any part of the trim/dash. |

+1 - really can't stand the brown wood trims... I used to have an E92 with dark grey poplar wood which was tasty but the brown ones just look too much like an old jag.

Thanks for the comments guys, I'm really chuffed with how its turned out.
bought from this chap on ebay after seeing a mate get some: http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/carbonprin...id=p4340.l2559 It's really good quality stuff, nice to work with and has the best look (of those I have seen up to now anyway). Plus he ships it in a proper protective tube so arrives in mint condition. I ordered 1000mmx1500mm (1mx1.5m) for a very reasonable £19.99 and I've probably got half of the roll left, plenty to do the toaster and kettle with!! (gets addictive)Cheers |

anyone seen a matching vinyl for the m-sport brushed ally trim? im thinking i wouldnt have to do all my trim if I got a decent match, just the door trims and the centre console.
